SUMMER LEAGUE

Due to the troubles in Croydon all matches due to be played on the 15th have now been moved to the 22nd. This is to enable the matches that had to be abandoned played. The last eight will now be on the 22nd August and finals on the 5th September. The AGM will still be held on the 25th August

Welcome to the start of another season. It was dissapointing that one or two teams did not show up at the AGM saying they didnt know it was being held. Im not sure what the answer to this is as 99% of you knew. We had the same thing happen when paperwork was given out, again teams didnt turn up and now there is some uncertaintity as to whether they are playing or not.

Mick and I dont do this for the money, it takes time to run the League and it is easier if we have the support of everyone. So come on guys, pay attention more and mark important dates in your diaries.

Keep an eye on this page as we will be using this for any announcements during the season. I am sure that every team has a player that has access to the internet.

Finally dont forget the penalties for late cards (3 point deduction) and also make sure I can read them. Please print names as some of the longhand writing is a bit beyond me.
